Welcome to the home page of the Washington County Republican Party! Our organization is dedicated to supporting our Republican elected officials and protecting the conservative principles that we hold dear. We have a successful platform that is predicated upon a grass roots approach to politics. Working at the ground level of the political pyramid, we organize many exciting events throughout the year. In doing so, we reach out and spread our message to the communities within Washington County, and the county at-large. As Ronald Reagan once said, "What is right will always eventually triumph". Our vice-chairman, Kathy Kiernan, was the recipient of the prestigious 2010 Tommy Thompson Award, which is only given to one GOP volunteer in Wisconsin each year. Congratulations Kathy!

Washington County was recently named the 74th most conservative county in the U.S by The Daily Caller (Tucker Carlson's website).

Wisconsin is a traditionally left-leaning upper Midwestern state that is shifting right in its newly developing suburbs. Eastern Wisconsin is now the Republican base of the state, containing nearly all of the counties that Barack Obama failed to win there. Washington County is northwest of Milwaukee and has meshed together a long-standing rural German conservative tradition with strong suburban growth. Local cultural conservatism was embodied by last year’s fight over library books in the main library in West Bend.

GOP HeadQuarters to be staffed by volunteers!!
Some of the WCRP members have graciously agreed to man the office on a regular basis in order to keep our doors open. These selfless individuals are giving up their own precious personal time in order to be on staff in case the general public would like to stop by to pick up literature, make inquiries or get information.
The HeadQuarters in West Bend will be open this summer during the following hours:
Saturdays 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Wednesdays 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.
